Read Mutual Fund Chart on Yahoo Finance
How to read the Mutual Fund quote chart on Yahoo Finance?

If you are interested to buy or sell some shares of a mutual fund,
you should read information its price chart
provided by Yahoo Finance as described below.
1. Go to finance.yahoo.com/quote/VTSAX/. You will see the live stock quote chart for "VTSAX", the Vanguard Total Stock Mkt Idx Adm share.
2. Read the chart top down and left right.
Nasdaq - Delayed Quote • USD - This tells us that quotes are delayed, in US dollars, and from Nasdaq (National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations), which is an electronic securities exchange.
Vanguard Total Stock Mkt Idx Adm (VTSAX) - This shows the full name of the mutual fund and sticker symbol "VTSAX", which identifies the stock on the given exchange market.
145.60 +1.41 +(0.98%) At close: 8:02:00 PM EST. - This tells us the share price of the fund, which is actually the NAV (Net Asset Value) of the fund. This value is calculated once a day by evaluating its current holdings.
